I have a strong knowledge of research supporting clinical approaches to help people decrease distress in their lives, and I have spent nearly 15 years practicing these techniques with clients from varied backgrounds. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCLA, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. I am proud to be a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, an organization providing educational programs and training standards for eating disorder specialists caring for those suffering from the full spectrum of disordered eating. This association offers the most widely respected certification process for specializing in eating disorder treatment.
My work integrates cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness approaches to help people struggling with issues such as depression, anxiety, body image, self-esteem, and food and weight issues, including eating disorders (Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder). I’d love to talk with you about my work, and give you the chance to see if we’d work well together. Please call for a free phone consultation!
